-
- Known problems
- --------------
-
- Defective coprocessors. Mercury exercises the math coprocessor fairly
- thoroughly, and a coprocessor which is not rated at the correct clock
- speed may not perform correctly. If you get mysterious crashes, try
- turning of the math coprocessor with SET 87=N at the DOS prompt.
-
- The newer Intel 80287 chips and clone chips will be identified as a
- an 80387, as they behave more like a 80387.
-
- User-defined functions cannot be used in a problem where all the
- variables are complex.
-
- Mercury uses a lot of RAM. You may have unload some of your TSRs or
- device drivers for Mercury to run.
-
- The GIBBS.EKA is slightly different from the one shown in the manual.
-
- To send me a fax, you have to call first on a voice line and warn me
- that a fax is coming.
